Niels Rønsholt

Niels Rønsholdt is a Danish composer, born in 1978. His work spans experimental opera, installations, songs, performances and concert music. Rønsholdt works with a form of “method composition”, in which conceptual frameworks incorporate performance, text and a musical expression that references mainstream music or historical musical forms.

Rønsholdt has received commissions from leading international ensembles, and his works have been performed at most major European festivals for contemporary music as well as internationally.
