Nordic Christmas
A break in the Christmas rush filled with the most beautiful voices and moods from Christmas in the Nordic countries. The vocal ensemble Ars Nova Copenhagen’s traditional Christmas concert this year presents music by, among others, Grieg, Sibelius, Nielsen, Lidholm, Gjeilo, Thorvaldsdottir and Nørholm. The ensemble’s singers and chief conductor Sofi Jeannin has put together a program that reflects that the group’s members come from the Nordic countries. Ars Nova Copenhagen has over a long period established itself as one of the world’s finest vocal ensembles, with a sound and quality that few others can match.
