Ann-Christin Wesser Ingels
Ann-Christin Wesser Ingels is a Swedish soprano and has been a member of Ars Nova since 2013. She works both as a soloist and ensemble singer.
Late Renaissance madrigal singing and its natural connection to early opera is what is closest to her heart. Ann-Christin is inspired by improvisational music and likes to draw inspiration from Swedish folk music and jazz.
Ann-Christin is educated at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where she studied with, among others, Emma Kirkby and Jessica Cash. She has another three years of advanced studies in early opera and baroque interpretation in Sweden and Germany.
Besides being a soloist at concerts and oratorios, Ann-Christin also sings in Musica Ficta (DK) and Gothenburg Baroque (SWE)
