Mikkel Tuxen
Mikkel Tuxen studied from 2009-2014 at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Professor Helene Gjerris as teacher. For many years he has been an active part of the vocal ensemble and choir environment in Copenhagen with regular engagements with, among others, Ars Nova Copenhagen, Danish National Concert Choir and Holmens Kantori and Vocal Ensemble. From 2017-2019 he was a regular part of the Norwegian Soloists' Choir. He also regularly sings with i.a. the Danish National Vocal Ensemble.
Mikkel has sung concerts in large parts of the world; USA, Canada, Japan and Hong Kong, as well as several European countries, and has been a soloist in e.g. Mozart's Requiem, Fauré's Requiem, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, Dvořák's Stabat mater, Handel's Messiah and Judas Maccabaeus, as well as Bach's St. Matthew Passion, St. John Passion and Mass in B minor.
